Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about listing, paying, and selling your Ghana property with Fie Real Estate.

Listing & pricing
Your listing stays live for 90 days from the day it goes live. This is included in the one-time £249 listing fee — there's no separate "duration" charge, and no commission is taken when your property sells.
Your listing is automatically taken down once the 90-day period ends. If your property hasn't sold yet and you'd like to keep it visible to buyers, you can relist for another 90 days at the same flat fee of £249 — there's no discount or penalty for relisting, it's simply the same process as your original listing.
No surprises: relisting is always £249, exactly the same as your first listing — never more.
Simply go to the listing page and submit your property details again, then complete the £249 payment via Stripe — the same process as your first listing. We'll re-verify your documents and your listing will go live within 72 hours, refreshed for another 90 days.
£249 covers one 90-day listing period. You won't be charged again automatically — there's no auto-renewal or recurring billing. If your property is still unsold after 90 days and you'd like to stay listed, you can choose to relist for another £249. If your property sells, you simply don't relist — there's never a commission taken on the sale itself.
No. The £249 listing fee is the only cost. We don't take a percentage of your sale price, and there are no hidden charges — buyers also enquire through the portal at no cost to them.
Payment & verification
After submitting your property details, you'll be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout to complete your £249 payment. Stripe supports payment from the UK, US and Canada.
After payment, email your title deed / indenture, a valid ID, and a site plan (if available) to enquiries@fierealestate.com, along with at least 3 clear photos of the property and surrounding area. Include your name and property location in the subject line.
Once your documents are verified by our team, your listing goes live within 72 hours.
Buying property
No — buyers can browse listings and enquire directly through the portal at no cost. Only sellers pay the flat listing fee.
Yes — conveyancing fees for the legal transfer of title are separate from the purchase price and are currently paid by the buyer. Legal transfer is handled by a licensed conveyancer in Ghana once full payment has been received.
Property asking prices are fixed in USD. GBP, CAD and GHS equivalents are indicative only and calculated at the prevailing exchange rate on the date of sale completion.
